Why Cathostant?

Cathostant is a word I came up with during my time in Seminary as I attempted to unify my Evangelical Protestant upbringing with the value I found in the more Liturgical expressions of Christianity (such as Catholicism and Orthodox). There are of course other words which include that idea, such as Ecumenical, but none of them quite carried the tension I feel. So, one day I combined Catholic with Protestant and ended up with Cathostant. It might not be the right word for anyone else, but for me it is the best way to hold on to that tension which exists between those two major streams in Christianity.
